Named after its creator, Maqsood Stand is made by a talented resilient man, visually challenged by birth. Not one to let his senses limit him, Maqsood Hashmi put himself through matriculation privately and learnt the art of weaving cane before the 8th grade. A family man with 5 children, Maqsood Hashmi rose to the challenge of designing this unique piece, which unlike other woven wicker work was curved and hard to implement.
