Khazana Crafts is a Livelihood Programme for women initiated by Indus Resource Centre. It started with the establishment of a craft centre/ production unit in 2008 in Khairpur. Here craftswomen were trained on product designing and refinement of skills so that they could produce home textiles, apparels, and other handmade products. The project aims at improving the economic livelihoods of 600 home-based craftswomen from Khairpur, Kotdiji and Jamshoro districts in Sindh through vocational training and marketing.
Over the years Khazana Crafts has expanded considerably and provides a platform, not only to our 600 home-based craftswomen, but to other talented artisans across Pakistan. At Khazana Crafts, we are committed to produce, refine and promote the finest hand-crafted, textile-based lifestyle products which are contemporary and appealing to the urban market at affordable prices.
