Datia is a small town in central India. This print show the view from the Maharajah's palace that was taken over by the Indian Government when this Princely State became part of Madhya Pradesh. These days it is open to the public as a museum, and from the balconies on the upper floors you can see across the town, past the markets and old prison to the distant hills. (2015)
