Lapis and Mustard Tagua Pendant

Rehana began to build a collection of beads and, later, when her diplomat husband was posted in Nigeria, she learned about the significance of beads to the African people, and her collection grew. Combining the cultures and colours of Pakistan, India (where she had lived for five years as a teenager), Afghanistan, China, Ecuador, Africa (where she lived for a total of fifteen years), she began to string her beads into necklaces.
