Recipe Bag - Jalebi and Green Tea

Jalebi is a traditional sweet, served at festivals and events. The most exciting part of the recipe comes after the formation of batter when the jaleebi wala, uses a dispenser to squeeze the batter into the hot oil in coils or spirals. The aroma of jaleebies spreads quickly and attracts crowds! Once dark orange, jaleebis are fried and then soaked in sugar syrup. No counting calories!
Jalebi Ingredients: All purpose flour, sugar, water, oil & pinch of yeast
Green tea is an ancient and traditional Asian drink. People often call it sabz chai or qehwa in Pakistan. Green tea is made steeping the tea leaves in boiling water. No milk is added and sugar is optional. Often served with a squeeze of lemon or some ground cardamom
