Sari Bead Necklace One String Green
Our wide range of signature Sari Necklaces are handcrafted from scraps of silk saris into unique, statement neck pieces. At House of Wandering Silk, our zero-waste policy leads us to the creation of new products which allow us to recycle all of our materials. Each necklace is hand made using remnants of sari fabric. These scraps of sari are hand picked from amongst the most vibrant and colourful pieces we have in our workshop, left over from the production of our Kantha Sari Scarves. Each is painstakingly hand finished.
The Sari Bead Necklaces are made by wrapping small sheesham wood prayer beads with sari fabric, while the Sari String Necklaces are made exclusively from silk sewn into small, tight tubes. We also craft a range of neckpieces with vintage Banjara tassels. Our Kantha Beaded Necklaces are made using kantha scrap, filled with waste cotton and made into individual beads before being strung together. Long straps in the back of most of the neck pieces allow you to wear your necklace at any length. We have Sari Bead Necklaces in multiple designs: 1 string, 6 string, 12 string and covetable 22 string neck pieces.
Necklaces do not contain any metal parts and are perfect for those with allergies.* Moreover, each is unique: you will never see two of the same! Our necklaces are crafted in our own workshop, where we work with master craftswomen to oversee production. Our Kantha Beaded Necklaces are made in partnership with a Delhi-based NGO that supports disadvantaged children and youth.
