Wazir Khan

Masjid Wazir Khan is one of the finest mosques in Pakistan, and from its minaret you can see much of Old City Lahore. In Wazir Khan II the view is re-imagined through the branches of a tree, whose leaves offer shade and comfort against the heat of summer Lahore. Wazir Khan is a view from the buildings surrounding the mosque of the same name. It is the early hours of morning and the city is quietly asleep. (2011)
