Payments

We accept Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfer and Cash on Delivery (CoD) payments in Pakistani Rupees.

Payment must either be made in full and have been cleared before the item is shipped, or at the time of delivery in the case of CoD. If you are having any issues with payments, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you in any way we can.

Shipping & Handling

We partner with Blue Ex and Leopard’s Courier and offer a standard shipping rate of PKR 300 on orders across Pakistan, delivered right to your doorstep, via courier. It doesn’t get better than this! For international shipments, please email us at hello@pollyandotherstories.com with the items you would like to purchase and we will get back to you with a quote.

Purchases are generally delivered within two weeks of order confirmation. In stock products, particularly those made by our partners in or near the larger cities, generally arrive much sooner – often within 5 working days of order confirmation. Bespoke orders may take between 6 to 8 weeks. International orders are handled on a case-to-case basis on special request. 

Out-of-stock

Our inventory can fluctuate even by the hour, so an item indicated as “in stock” when you place your order may, in fact, be out-of-stock. In this event, we make every effort to contact you by email immediately to notify you that your order has not been finalised. Because we frequently partner with artisans from remote communities around the region and with small home-based businesses, we cannot guarantee the availability of out-of-stock items. Our partners are continually crafting new items and may not maintain stock. For this reason, we do not always offer back orders. However, if a back order is possible and you are willing to wait for at least 6 weeks, we will notify you immediately.

Certain items for sale on our site are not kept in inventory, but can be ordered especially for you. This is true particularly for bespoke pieces or some of the products made by women based in remote, rural communities. If you have selected one of these items, we will confirm the order after running the delivery timeline by you.
